How long have you guys known each other/ been a band?
We go way back. We've known each other since like what, middle school? Atleast 10 years. 10 miserable years.
How did you come up with your band name?
We kinda' knew we wanted a "number" in there somewhere and thats how we originally started brain storming. As for the meaning of the actual name, we prefer it stay a mystery. Bring on the internet theories.
What's your favorite part about performing?
"For me its all about just having fun. Giving it your all and having the time of your life, and there's nothing better than when the crowd feeds off that and sends that energy back at you" - JD
"Hearing people sing the words back to us. I also like to make faces at people and see how they react" - Andrew
What city are you guys looking forward to play in?
Chicago would be cool.
How would you describe your particular genre of music?
Punk rock n' roll. We aren't huge into labeling exactly what we do. You never know when the sound might change. Why write yourself into a corner.
What inspires you to write music?
"Life experiences are big as I imagine they are with everyone, but sometimes Ill just write something about absolutely nothing and let it form into something. If someone gets meaning out of it, thats enough for me." -Andrew
Any memorable shows so far?
"Memorable shows, there's a few, we've had some amazing home shows but the one that stands out to me the most is the Massachusetts show on our first tour. Having kids we didn't know in a state we've never been to mosh and jump around with us was like nothing else I had ever experienced up to that point" - JD
Where do you see Scared 20 within the next year?
Conquering the world. Or in jail or something. Most like conquering the world.
